Food in Japan is a whole world. Explore it with me!
Sushi is just an amazing food. I love sushi. And, it's from Japan. Sushi is food in rice, surrounded by seaweed. Well, that's one kind of sushi. There are many types of sushi. Like, lots of types of sushi.
I could dive deep into every kind of sushi. But, I won't. You're lucky. We're just going to do the top 2 most popular kinds of sushi today.
The most popular type of sushi is the one we all know and (hopefully) love. And that is Maki sushi, I mean ... sushi rolls. It's the type of sushi that I explained earlier.
The next type of sushi is Nigiri - hand-pressed sushi. It's a bunch of rice with fish or other seafood on top. It is normally cut into small pieces.
Ramen is tasty. Like, ramen is very tasty. Very tasty. Very tasty. Sorry for that, it got a little creepy. But, it's true.
It has 3 main components. Those 3 components are noodles, broth and toppings. So, let's see what these components are like!
Firstly, noodles. If you don't know what noodles are, you've probably been living under a rock for your entire life. But if you do, welcome! Noodles are in ramen, it's just that simple.
Now, we've got broth. This is the soup bit of the ramen. And can e based off many things such as soy, salt and pork. It can be left cooking for hours on end.
And we've got the last bit, toppings. The toppings are the think that go on top of the ramen bit. It has top in its name. So, it's on top. Toppings include (but not limited to) boiled eggs and pork.
