Japanese Macaques are animals that live in the mountains of Northern Honshu. They keep themselves warm by huddling in groups by volcanic springs. 

Japanese cranes are large wading birds. They are a symbol of loyalty and good luck. They're famous for their courtship dances and the amazing care that they take for their little ones.

Koi fish are cool fishes that live in ponds in Japan. They come in lots of different colours, so they can look really cool when they are swimming in the water. Oh, did I mention they also have cool patterns on them too? They can represent strength and good luck. They look really cool when you are watching them. Not only that, but they can be in gardens and even sometimes aquariums! Did I mention they look gorgeous, too?
